About Divertimento
Founded in 1983, Divertimento is a group of thirty or so singers and have been performing in Warwickshire ever since.. The number varies from time to time but the one thing that never changes is our passion for singing and all things choral. Our programmes are made up of mainly unaccompanied pieces in almost any style you can think of. We love sacred and secular music, from the Renaissance right through to the present day, and from all around the world. We sing in English, Latin and various European languages, as well as fa la la and doo be doo (and the very occasional hey nonny no). We've even had the odd go at a couple of African languages. And Welsh.
We're sure you've got the idea. We simply love singing and hope this always comes across in our performances.
