Summer Garden Tours
Following the success of our pilot tours, we're delighted to be bringing back our Garden Tours throughout the summer holidays.
Join one of our knowledgeable guides for a leisurely stroll through the beautiful historic gardens of The Lord Leycester, uncovering over 500 years of history, hidden features and fascinating horticultural stories.
From the medieval origins of the site to unique features such as the Pineapple Pit, Norman Arch and Nilometer, discover how the gardens have evolved through the centuries and continue to thrive today thanks to the care of our dedicated volunteers and gardeners.
Every Thursday during the summer holidays
23 July – 27 August
11.00am – 11.45am
£4 per person in addition to general admission
Accessibility
Please note that the garden is not fully accessible. While some areas have level, resin-bound paths, access to the full tour includes uneven surfaces and steps (including access via the Chapel). As a result, the tour may not be suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.
