Christmas Candlelit Tour
Journey through nearly 900 years of Christmas at the Lord Leycester on a magical after-hours candlelit tour.
Explore our historic buildings as your guide brings Christmases past to life — from medieval feasts and Tudor festivities to Victorian traditions — before finishing by candlelight in the medieval Chapel of St James.
Fridays & Saturdays throughout December
6:30pm–7:30pm
£15 per person
Our café will be open from 5pm, serving a special festive menu before the tour. Your guide will collect you from the café at 6:30pm.
Please wrap up warm as many of our historic spaces are unheated, and wear sensible footwear. Some areas of the tour are unfortunately inaccessible to wheelchair users and visitors with limited mobility.
Primarily aimed at adults and older children.
